RICHARD P. RUTH III, P.E.
SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
In 1983, Richard joined Brinnier and Larios, P.C. During this time he was responsible for the preparation of design drawings and calculations while assisting with the execution of construction contracts involving municipal water, sewer systems and treatment facilities. This also included preparation of site designs for private and commercial development, and contract execution for municipal projects which consisted of preparation of technical engineering reports, stormwater modeling and drainage system design, pumping system design, concrete and highway design. In 1992 Rich accepted a position with the NYCDEP and was promoted to Senior Project Manager in the Environmental Programs section, but rejoined B&L in 1995.
As a NYS Licensed Professional Engineer, he is responsible for all aspects of engineering design, contract preparation, permitting and execution in numerous municipal, commercial and private capital construction projects. Rich is currently in charge of design for all Village of New Paltz water, sewer infrastructure and public works projects
